I consider myself lucky.  For the past 15 plus years I don’t think I’ve had to work for a living, crazy right?  Instead I like to call that time my favourite past time or hobby if I may, creating landscape designs for residential properties across Auckland. 

I’m Nanda and I’ve designed gardens as far north as Matakana to south of Auckland in Pukekawa with plenty in between.  I’ve designed properties with swimming pools, water features, decks, patios, pergolas, terraces and many gardens and lawns. I’ve completed a few designs for commercial properties, and have had the pleasure of designing for the North Shore Hospice and the Rotary Club Centennial Garden for the North Shore Hospital.  Albeit majority of these were designed under the umbrella of a large well established landscape construction company Lanzpec Limited, though the inspiration has all stemmed from yours truly.  I’ve even had the opportunity to be a part of design teams that entered exhibits at the Ellerslie Flower Shows in Auckland, Auckland Homeshows and North Shore Homeshows.

Since becoming a mother in 2014, design had to take a back seat.  Now (2019) my youngest is at kindy, I’m putting design back in the drivers seat.  My passion for design has meant working from home so I am available to my family.  I still continue to contract to Lanzpec Limited, but I’m also branching out on my own closer to home under my own business name Creative Living Outdoors.

 As a designer my priority is to listen to you, to understand what you are looking for in a design and to appreciate the site.  Only then can I deliver a quality, attractive, functional design that will tick all the boxes for you.  I like to make certain that you are satisfied with the design before it is finalised. 

 I have worked on different sized properties from large lifestyle blocks right down to the size of a “postage stamp”.  I’ve had clients with a basic idea of what they want, clients with too many ideas and clients with no ideas and not able to give much to work with.  Regardless of the situation I always delivered and did so in a timely manner.
